Notes from the District Nurses:
Good afternoon. I would like to share that we are observing an increase in illnesses (e.g., stomach pain, headaches, and fevers) across the district this week.
Please refer to the attached flyer for guidance on when to keep students at home. We are reminding students how often to wash their hands and to avoid sharing food, drinks, or utensils.
Lastly, please help reinforce good hand hygiene (students are reminded as they enter the health room) and avoid sharing food and utensils.
Thank you again for your support in keeping our students healthy and engaged at school.

Out of 80 teams competing in six categories and three age levels, our district brought home 6 medals, one special award — and six teams qualified for State! Woohoo!
The Lorax Family (Kaceton Barnett, Addison Drees, Maelie Clark, Isabella Canter), placed 1st in the Fine Arts, Becoming Super challenge AND and received the Renaissance Award for their “creativity of the cotton candy and gumdrop forest background.” They advance to State. - Woohoo!
All of the teams worked very hard for months perfecting their performances and building their sets, props and engineered contraptions. Please be sure to congratulate them on their accomplishment! We are so proud of all of their hard work, creativity and dedication.
On to State — March 20-21 at Southridge High School in Kennewick, Washington!
