Let’s get outside for a winter nature walk!  Join Spokane Audubon for a Winter Contemplative Bird/Nature Hike

When: Saturday, January 25th    10:00 – noonish (subject to change due weather and road conditions)

Where: McCllelan Overlook in Riverside State Park, off of 7 mile road, Nine Mile Falls. From WA-291 go for .8 mile Turn right onto N. Riverside State Park Drive. Go about .7 of a mile to the circular parking area and trailhead for Centennial Trail. It is NOT McClellan Conservation Area out Charles Road.

Details:  We will walk along the Spokane River and through Ponderosa Pine Forest. The trail is mostly unpaved with some rocks and short uphill and downhill spots approximately 2 miles in length. There are no guarantees for numerous bird sightings, but there will be opportunities to slow our minds and notice the beauty of a January winter day.

Best suited for older teens to mobile adults.
